What: A venue for students to present their research in chemistry, chemical engineering, and related fields.
Why: This symposium will be an excellent opportunity for students, faculty, and the community at large to learn about the interesting chemistry and related research being conducted in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
Who: Undergraduate, graduate, high school and community college students from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and Northeast Wisconsin, pursuing research projects through internally and externally-funded grants, guided independent study, or as part of a course.
The general public is encouraged to attend!
Cost: No Cost to Present! Lunch will be provided. Limited travel support is available.
Awards: Prize money will be awarded for best posters and presentations. All presenters will receive a gift from the UP Local Section
